In November of 1964, Eastern Railway Supplies (Canada) Ltd. was established to provide sales & marketing representation for a variety of railway maintenance of way equipment manufacturers to Canadian railways, shortlines, railway contractors, steel mills, and scrap recycling industries.

In a 1999 corporate restructuring, this wholly owned subsidiary of ERS Industries, Inc. of West Seneca, NY was renamed North American Equipment Sales (Canada) Ltd.

NAES (Canada) Ltd. (as we are also known) continues to serve the Canadian railway marketplace with offices located in Mississauga, ON.
