The heart of the Arabian Crane Services operation is still extensive repair and refurbishment work. The company employs over a dozen mechanics, electricians and welders and does a lot of modernisation work on mobile cranes that have been working in the oil fields for years.This includes inspecting all critical components and structural parts, as well as installing modern, emission-compliant engines and also safety systems. All of the crane's wiring is checked over and repaired to original standards. In addition, the Arabian Crane Services workshop is equipped to fabricate and overhaul wire line trucks, fitted with National Crane boom trucks. According to Athmani, these cranes are essential tools in oil well operations and require specialist adjustment.
