DESCRIPTION
SRC840 SANY Rough Terrain Crane 40 US ton.
BOOM:
32.8' - 103.3' Four Section, full power, mechanically synchronized boom. Each hexagonal boom section is formed from high strength steel with 2 continously welded seams. The two cylinder & cable extend system is smooth and reliable. Single boom hoist cylinder provides boom elevation of -3 degrees to 78 degrees for easier reeving changes and close radius operation. 26' - 45' (7.9 - 13.7 m) Lattice Jib w/Offset (0,20 or 40 Degrees)
OPERATORS CAB:
Large Sany designed display with 2 interactive screens - Crane Mode & Drive Mode. Deluxe six- way adjustable operator's seat. Sound and weather insulated for comfort. Large glass area and opening top hatch provide optimum visibility. Tinted safety glass throughout. Armrest mounted pilot operated hydraulic joy stick control levers for swing, boom lift, main and aux hoist functions; foot control pedals for swing brake, boom telescope, engine throttle and travel brake. Complete instrumentation, circuit breakers, environmentally sealed rocker switches, 360 degree house lock, heater/air conditioner & 12 V outlet.
ENGINE:
Cummins QSB6.7, Tier-III, 160 HP (119 kW) @ 2,500 RPM, 6-cylinder, water cooled, fuel injected diesel with an intercooled, turbo charger. The engine controls include one adjustable hand throttle and one foot pedal throttle. There is a 90 gallon (340L) fuel tank, and heavy duty batteries (2-24 volt, 1600 cca)
CHASSIS:
Rugged, east to maneuver, box type chassis construction, with reinforcing cross members. Dana Powershift transmission with torque converter; neutral start; six speeds forward, six reverse. Hydraulic four-wheel power steering for front wheel, rear wheel, all wheel coordinated and all wheel crab steer. Hydraulic disc brakes (dual calipers on front wheels and single calipers on rear wheels) on all four wheels and integrated park brake in front differential. Three position fully independent hydraulic outriggers available - fully extended position, mid- position extended position, and fully retracted. Tail swing 12.75 ft (3.89 m). Standard 20.5R25 tires.
HOIST SYSTEM:
Two Speed Main and Auxiliary Winch - 460 fpm (140 m/min) maximum line speed, 14,000 lb (6,350 kg) maximum single line pull. Integral automatic brake. Electronic drum indicators. Grooved drum, tapered flanges, and spring loaded cable roller for improved spooling. Wire Rope 5/8"x 700' (16 mm x 213 m) 6 x 37 Class EIPS.
COUNTERWEIGHT:
Standard upper counterweight - 9,500 lb (4,300 kg) [with auxiliary hoist] or 11,000 lb (5,000 kg) [without auxiliary hoist].
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:
24 Volt systems. (3) Work lights - Carrier, Boom tip, and front of operators cab. Battery disconnect & emergency outrigger retract switches in chassis. Sany designed Load Moment Indicator (LMI) system including anti-two block system with automatic function disconnects.
